BIYAYEN YA PAMANA: REVITALIZING AND PRESERVING BOTOLAN CULTURAL HERITAGE THROUGH MUSEUM EDUCATION PROGRAM

President Ramon Magsaysay State University College of Teacher Education Extension Team led by Dean Dr. Zenvi Ann Macalinao , Extension Coordinator Mr. Joven Ian M. Marquez, Asst. Director Mr. Mark Gil Dela Rosa , Faculty members Sir Rey E. Dalusong, Sir Reynor Dial, Maam Irish Eblacas Flores, Maam Grace Reyes Lasco and Maam Mylene Maya Yabut paid a visit to Botolan Mayor Jun Omar C. Ebdane to present the Museum Extension Program Proposal. The team was accompanied by Botolan Tourism Officer Maam Gennessy Detubio and Balin Pamana Museum consultant Nanay Cecille Fronda-Allejos Santiago.

The said extension program entitled BIYAYEN YA PAMANA: REVITALIZING AND PRESERVING BOTOLAN CULTURAL HERITAGE THROUGH MUSEUM EDUCATION PROGRAM aims to capacitate the staff of Balin Pamana- Botolan Heritage Center through the following Projects – Project Tindig Museo (Museum Organization), Project Balin Pamana Digital Museum (Digital content for museum), Project Aralin sa  Balin Phase 1 (Museo at Kasaysayan), Project Aralin sa Balin Phase 2 (Tanghal Museo), and Project Aralin sa Balin Phase 3 (Development of Learning Modules in Araling Panlipunan). The partnership between PRMSU CTE and LGU Botolan- Balin Pamana will be formalized this coming June 2024.
